Description

The OASE Bitron C 36 is a 36 W UVC clarifier for ponds up to 40 m³ (20 m³ with fish, 10 m³ with koi). UVC light breaks down floating algae that turn pond water green and reduces harmful bacteria and germs. A patented cleaning rotor, driven by the water flow, travels continuously around the quartz glass tube so dirt cannot build up and the lamp stays effective. A twist handle lets you set the flow through the unit to suit your filter pump. The lamp housing opens with a quick-release closure, and a safety switch turns the UVC lamp off when it is opened, so there is no risk of eye damage. Integrated magnets help protect the filter equipment from lime deposits. Fits BioSmart 18000/36000 and BioTec ScreenMatic² 40000–60000, and comes with the OASE clear water guarantee when used with an OASE BioSmart, BioTec or ProfiClear flow-through filter.
